Ruth is the founder and Director of Oak Moon Rising Ltd, the parent company of The Kaleidoscopes. She is a Qualified NLP Practitioner (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Business & Life Coach, Neurodiversity Trainer, Parental Transition Coach, and Menopause & Carer Specialist.

She practices meditation and mindfulness every day, and occasionally guides others, drawing heavily from her personal experiences & qualifications in all aspects of life.

Following many years in the corporate world of IT, across the communication, finance, and travel sectors, Ruth became a mother and decided to retrain in order to work in a way which allowed her to spend more time with her family.

She trained with the University of Bedfordshire and the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) achieving a Diploma of Higher Education in Breastfeeding Counselling. She is currently partway through her Psychology Degree with the University of South Australia, though she currently has it on hold and will continue into her third and final year as soon as her schedule allows!

She is mother of two, who are navigating the transition that teenage life brings. Their two very fluffy and adorable black cats will occasionally join Ruth in online events. Ruth walks at least 3 miles a day in order to stay fit & healthy in both mind and body.

Brian is a qualified Neurodiversity Trainer and Menopause Champion, working both independently and alongside Ruth.

Brian started out in life with an Engineering Degree from the University of Maryland, before retraining as a Paramedic with the Prince George’s County Fire Department of Maryland, USA. He spent 27 years doing this, achieving the rank of Captain. His approach to life is honesty, kindness, and gentleness. When Brian delivers workshops, he speaks from his heart and experience both.

First as a Paramedic, and now as carer for his father and sister, he has past and present experience of being a carer.

Many years of public service have taught patience & understanding of people, especially those experiencing trauma or with neurodiversities, acknowledging that everyone responds to situations very differently.

Brian attempts to keep up with his two daughters and their busy lives. Brian likes to walk, reflect, and get his hands dirty in the earth of a well-kept garden.
