Coaching

What is coaching?

Coaching is a practice where individuals are guided to discover and increase their strengths, develop skills, build resilience, and overall enhance their performance in every part of life. It is based in the here and now with a clear view to the desired future, it does not dwell in the past.

Imagine you’re driving a car, you have to look through that great big window in front of you, the smaller ones beside you, with the occasional glance in the rear view mirror. Focussing on the rear view mirror will lead to a crash, focusing on where you want to go makes for a fabulous and safe, yet exciting, journey!

Successfully navigating transitions is a skill, one we’re not born with. Our individual coaching packages are based in person centred, forward thinking theories, everything we talk about with you is researched and evidenced based.

Our coaches are skilled in Life and Business Coaching, they are accredited by organisations such as the AC and ICF – both highly credited globally. They are a variety of specialists including Neurodiversity, Women in Business, and Parental Transition coaching.

When we make the journey into parenting, we often don’t consider how that might impact our career, our relationships, and how we successfully juggle all of that whilst getting the support we need in all areas of life.

Being a carer can mean many things and we specifically coach professionals who are also carers, whether they are caring for elderly or infirm family or friends, or whether they have neurodiversity in their family – being the partner or parent of a person with a neurodiversity can bring extra challenges, we are here to support and guide you.

Receiving a diagnosis of a Neurodiversity in later life might seem like you are checking off the box you already knew about, but the reality of the acceptance of the diagnosis goes much deeper and impacts everyone in different ways.

Group coaching is also available for your teams on topics meeting your specific needs. Sessions can include exploring the depths of what holds people back, so that progress can be made as a team and as individuals.

Amidst my transition to parenthood and facing personal challenges, Ruth’s guidance has been essential. She has offered empathetic understanding along with practical coaching, helping me to not only set personal goals but also re-evaluate my self-perceptions. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ruth. Working with her helped create the time and space to grapple with the mixed emotions and changing identity that comes with motherhood. She offers practical advice and tools to help build your confidence as a parent.

Ruth is a wonderful Life Coach. When we started, I was stalled in my position in life and I needed to make changes. Ruth was gentle and allowed me to be open and frank. We set up realistic goals and outcomes that I wanted to achieve, and Ruth gave me the tools to reach my goals and aid me in my growth. I was accountable to myself as well as my coach. I made necessary changes that improved my personal development and my attitude and outlook made me a better person for myself as well as for others. I am living life again.
